About Frazier Suction Tubes — Manual Aspirator Pattern
A Frazier suction tube is a slim, angled metal tube that connects to a suction line and clears blood, saliva and irrigation fluid from the surgical field. The angle keeps your hand out of the line of sight while the tip reaches into the site. We supply the tubes in 2, 3, 4 and 5 mm sizes.
Choosing a size
Smaller sizes reach into narrow spaces such as an extraction socket or a small flap and clear fluid gently. Larger sizes move more fluid when the field is busier. Many surgical trays keep more than one size. We confirm in your quotation whether each size refers to the inside or the outside diameter of the tube.
What you need to use them
The tubes are passive: they need a separate suction source and tubing. Check the connector end against your suction tubing before ordering in quantity. They are not electrosurgical suction electrodes and have no cable or powered function.

Cleaning and sterilization
Clean the inside of the tube promptly after use so debris does not dry in the lumen; a cleaning wire or brush sized to the bore helps. Follow the supplied processing instructions and your facility's validated protocol.
