About Implant Trephine, Tissue Punch & Saw Kits

These kits cover several jobs in implant surgery. A trephine is a hollow cylindrical drill that cuts a round core of bone, for example to remove bone or take a bone sample. A tissue punch removes a round piece of gum over the implant site so the implant can be placed without a flap. Saw discs make straight cuts in bone. Marking drills make the first small hole that the rest of the drilling follows.

Kit options

• Long trephine kit, 3.0 to 6.0 mm: six long trephines (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and 6.0 mm) with a cassette.
• Long trephine kit, 3.0 to 8.0 mm: six long trephines (3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0 mm).
• Short trephine kit, 3.0 to 10.0 mm: eight short trephines in 1 mm steps.
• Five-piece tissue punch kit: punches of 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and 5.5 mm.
• Four-piece saw disc set: discs of 4, 5, 6 and 8 mm.
• Combination kit: five trephines (3 to 7 mm), five tissue punches (3.5 to 5.5 mm), two guide punches (4 and 5 mm) and two saw discs (7 and 10 mm).
• Lance, pilot and marking drill kit: drills of 2.0, 2.5, 2.8 and 3.2 mm, each in short and long, with a steel holder.

The two long trephine kits have different size steps, so choose by the sizes you need.

Matching your system

Tell us your handpiece or implant system and we confirm the shanks fit. If you need inside or outside diameters for the trephines, ask and we confirm them in your quotation.

Care

Clear bone and tissue from trephines and punches straight after use, check cutting edges for wear and return each piece to its place. Follow the supplied processing instructions and your facility's validated protocol.
