About Curved Bone Scrapers

A bone scraper harvests small amounts of the patient's own bone from the surface of the jaw. Drawing the blade across the bone shaves off thin curls, which gather in the collecting head behind the blade. The collected bone can then be used as graft material at the implant or defect site, without a separate harvesting procedure elsewhere.

What is a curved dental bone scraper used for?

What does autogenous or autologous bone mean in a scraper description?
